Warranty Information

We pride ourselves on addressing maintenance issues under our warranty. We offer a 10 year workmanship warranty on our work. We have very few warranty issues due to the use of quality materials and hardware. Warranty periods for specific products, accessories and materials vary depending on the brand and material choices.

The links below cover our the most common products used in kitchens. In some instances where a different product is specified or requested, the warranty period may be different. Any warranty claims related to product/material will fall under the warranty periods and terms specified by the product manufacturer/supplier. This includes accessories, drawer runners, hardware and any other items sourced from other suppliers.

Any other brands / custom hardware selections may have a different supplier warranty period. Please ask for clarification if you have any other hardware specified in your project.

Exclusions:

The following issues are not covered by warranty:

• Water damage/swelling

• Dents, chips or other physical damage from misuse, accidents, exposure to excessive heat, exposure to excessive moisture, the use of solvents or inappropriate cleaning products/materials, improper maintenance, scratches, scuffs, burns, stains, wipe marks on darker colour surfaces, exposure to chemical products or normal wear and tear;

• General fading and discolouration or damage due to direct and indirect light (exposure to sunlight should be avoided);

• Variation in colour, pattern, shade of the material against the sample material, displays and/or printed illustrations;

• Misuse and/or neglect

• Settlement or structural movement and/or movement of materials to which the Product is attached;

It’s important to note that water damage/swelling is not covered by the warranty, and neither is damage resulting from misuse and/or neglect. Water damage/swelling is due to water entering the substrate so it is important to keep it dry (this includes water sitting on top and bottom of doors & panels). Top joins in laminate tops will open up if subjected to excess heat from things like frying pans, jug boiling over, or even if a dark colour is exposed to extreme sunlight. Once the join opens up, water will get into the substrate and it will swell, this is considered misuse and neglect, but if caught early can be made good relatively easily by resealing the join for a minimal charge. Dents, chips, or cracks that appear after install are not product failures but misuse.

Hot items – off the hob or out of the oven should NOT be put directly onto bench tops, this will blister laminate and can crack stone / quartz.

Shrinking back of foil-wrap (Panelform) is caused by excess heat. For example – cooking on the hob without the extractor running or toaster/jug used directly underneath overcupboards or leaking oven seal. Any heat over 60 degrees C will cause shrinkage and is NOT covered by warranty.

In the event that the Company accepts a claim under this warranty, and that acceptance involves the re-coating of any Product(s) either by the Company or any third party, then the customer accepts that there may be slight colour differences between the original and replacement Products due to the effects of weathering and variations in materials over time.

A replacement product may not reasonably be available from the supplier in the same material, finish, design or colour as the original Product supplied. If a replacement Product of the same shape, type, design or colour is not reasonably available, then the supplier may satisfy its obligations under this warranty by providing a replacement Product of a shape, type, design or colour as close to the original Product as is reasonably practicable, from the suppliers then-current stock at the time of replacement.
